i guess i've lurked around long enough - it's time to join my new family and tell the condensed (thank goodness) version of my experience.. my parents came into the org.

My experience at the Memorial...

the memorial was held last night at a community center about 15 km away from the kingdom hall.

as a df'd person, i always feel more uncomfortable if the memorial is held at a location other than the regular kh, as i would otherwise know my way around where to sit in obscurity, as well as arriving just as the meeting is about to start.. well, i decided to come a little bit earlier (although not too early) - then walked inside the community center and suddenly i was standing in front of the wide entrance where practically everyone was gathered in order to get a perfect view of who were entering the hall.

needless to say, i felt like an alien, someone who did not exist at all, yet when i gazed into the eyes of many of the ones i know, i noticed that they were secretly looking at me and then quickly turned their heads away from me.

i was there to tell them of what my overseer of the launrdy said to me the statement was "that brother over there {pointing to gary kennedy} will die at armagedon, because of his actions!

Searching for a Child Abuser

i heard this weekend that a convicted child abuser was murdered in jail.

i knew him but i don't remember his first name.

we were in the same congregation together for a few weeks.

You can count the number of states that
require that on two hands!!!

Why not intruct ALL elders, in ALL states to
do the same?

They only report it in those few states, as they do
not want to be found guilty in those state only.

If they really cared about ALL Jw's, they would
instruct the flock to call the police in all cases

But I guess waiting on Jehovah is better?
Meanwhile, while we wait for Jah, victims
go untreated and sex perverts go on
testing are resolve for the truth.
Meanwhile, the GB continue to harp on the
subject of sex, whats best for us,
while a few men and woman become frustrated
and commit these crimes on young men and woman.
